Back to school - flat water on the estuary again and plenty of practice,
made just about every gybe, plenty were picture perfect planing gybes, so
much easier on the flat - all that choppy mess at Felixstowe has really
bought me on. Duck gybes including a couple planing - although I can only
do them in one direction. Currently got a hole in my quiver: a 6.5m sail
would have made this a 4 star outing.
BTW - sea looked really interesting today - approaching high tide, N wind,
and there were waves, proper waves forming and coming into the shore (+ a
nice shore dump). Lack of backup meant I was tempted, but didn't actually
give it a go.
